Sustainable Development Fund (SDF) Areas of Service - Update

Our journey in the past several years has taken us through East Africa and we have had the pleasure of meeting many exceptional, environmentally focused individuals and communities. As we have empowered communities through various community lead initiatives, we have been blessed to discover how we can help to enable East African entrepreneurs to develop strategies to restore ecosystems, adopt regenerative farming practices, utilize waste biomass for the production of biochar and green charcoal and generate revenues to insure long term sustainability. We continue to partner with local communities and make strong relations with East African Rotary Clubs, particularly those in District 9212. Lastly, we have developed an eco-school program for rural African schools which involves improving the school infrastructures to incorporate proven environmental- sustainability technologies to permit the school to function as a living demonstration of affordable sustainability technologies. Instead of challenging the students with the task of determining how to improve and reduce their school’s environmental footprint, our eco-school program becomes the teaching laboratory. Students learn how to eliminate waste and live in a true circular-economy fashion and address the United Nations (UN) sustainable development goals (SDG’s) in the process. This model can be applied to most rural schools and adapted to be installed in phases to suite budget and funding constraints. We are very excited about the potential to create a generation of environmental-sustainability stewards. Today’s children form our best and greatest hope that God’s creation will be restored! Please help us make a difference by considering funding one of our Eco-schools in Uganda or Kenya.
